 Laura Yunger became President of Cheevers & Company in 2009. Laura runs the day-to-day operations and helps formulate the firm’s long-term strategy. She is responsible for the company’s fiscal performance and leads the executive team.
Prior to joining Cheevers & Company, she held executive positions with Wachovia Corporation. As Vice President of Enterprise Planning & Strategic Initiatives, Laura oversaw profitability reporting programs for subsidiary brokerage Wachovia Securities. Most recently, Laura served as Head of Wealth Marketing Strategy for Evergreen Investments, Wachovia’s investment management division. In this role she developed competitive selling strategies for the firm’s suite of high-net-worth investment products, which included customized equity and fixed income portfolios, separately managed accounts, and alternative strategies. Laura also held senior positions with Bank of America in their Consulting Services Group, where she played an integral role in the launch and success of their fee-based brokerage and managed wrap account programs. Laura began her financial services career in 1994 with Rydex Investments, where she served as a marketing director.
Laura is a member of the National Association of Securities Professionals, Women Investment Professionals, Women in Listed Derivatives, 100 Women in Hedge Funds and the Security Traders Association of Chicago.
Laura maintains her Series 7 and Series 24 registrations with FINRA.
