 John Castro joined Cheevers & Company in 2004. He is fluent in Spanish and services Spanish, Mexican, and Latin American accounts.
John began his career as a runner on the Chicago Stock Exchange. He then served in a trade reporting capacity and as a MAX customer service representative for the exchange. John later worked for Engelman Securities, a subsidiary of E*Trade Financial, where he became an institutional equities broker. In this role, he dealt extensively with professional block traders in various trading situations.
John maintains his Series 7 and Series 24 registrations with FINRA. He is on the advisory board of the Security Traders Association of Chicago.
